Anxiety Issue

Just wondering if anyone else has trouble with this.

I’m not going to pretend I understand my situation extremely well or can quote exactly what it is that I am dealing with, but it is something that I’ve been struggling with for a few months now.

For context, I ended an extremely toxic (four year long) relationship about 8 months ago, slowly making strides to get over it. One of the things I’ve noticed lately aside from my general anxiety and panic attacks, is that whenever I’m in a certain place we used to be back at my hometown, (even though she’s nowhere to be found) I still get extremely anxious and fidgety.

It’s just a tad concerning. It’s not like on the level of a panic attack or anything, but it’s a general feeling of insecurity and fear. Just wondering if for one thing, anyone has dealt with a problem like this recently, And for another, if there are any tips to help lessen or be rid of it.

God Bless.

  • it could be memory association, if possibke, try to tell yourself: "loads of people go here/do this" and so on, as it may help to put it into perspective.

if its a case of worrying about seeing the person there, what ive learnt in life, you may see someone somewhere once, and never see them again, unless its arranged to meet at such and such time, then ofcourse youll see the person there, well, assuming they turn up.

but, randomly "bumping into" someone is rather unlikely ive found.

    apologies for the ramble

  • haha as english joke says about odds:

    once is an accident

    twice a coincidence

thrice must be a conspiracy LOL
