Stress levels boiled over

Last night, I only got three hours sleep. Then, throughout the morning, I was on the caffeine to function. Then, I called the out-of-hours Doctor in Ballymena, as I had palpitations.

First call was from the Triage Nurse, then she forwarded the details to a Doctor on call. In the end, I was prescribed three or four days' worth of Diazapam. But I don't want a dependency on Benzos. When I had a few days of Zopiclone, last year, I didn't get hooked on them.

The long-term solution is to get back to Chamomile Tea. Also, I need more exercise.

Now, I can settle down.

  • I was in for a ct scan a while ago months after experiencing heart pain and squeezing for weeks at a time. I was in the early stages of processing something  traumatic though, which j think may have caused old damage (from pericarditis) to flare up again. I was in a dilemma over whether to cancel the scan as i have fewer symptoms of late, but went ahead in the end as a general sense of how the arteries etc. are doing would be no bad thing. Its hard to work put what’s inflammatory stuff and autoimmune responses too sometimes.

  • i drink that too, its good as a muscle relaxant and so called induces more vivid dreams... and is also anti-inflamatory, makes your abs and guts feel relaxed.

also try peppermint tea for similar effects too.

  • caffeine bad, causes the heart palpitations, even if you have it in energy drinks does the same thing. i think even aspartame can cause that too as i used to drink alot of cans of diet coke each day and that got my heart palpitating and feeling weird alot until i quit drinking that toxic sludge.

  • Glad youre home and settled now Desmond. Palpitations and a trip to the Doctors - not fun. Do you recommended chamomile that highly then? Must give it another go
