How can I cope up with autism and psychics son?

Respectfully,

When my son, who is 19 years old and has autism and learning difficulties, moved back to our home in 2021, we didn't receive any support. Since then, we've been unable to find the right support for him. We are currently receiving 15 hours a week from the council, but the support workers we're getting aren't fully qualified in working with autistic individuals.

Since she promised him a message from his "soulmate" and other such promises, Smith has become increasingly enraged. I'm worried that this "astrologer" may have threatened my son in some way, and I fear for his mental health if we refuse to give him the money to pay for these "psychics." If we refuse to give him the money to pay for them, he throws big tantrums.

Please help me get this sorted before it's too late. I'd really appreciate your help. Thank you.

Parents
  • I'd be weary of anyone promising of to give your son a message from his soulmate. I mean, why in the world would his soulmate use this psychic as if they're an expensive telephone booth to transfer messages between them to your son? If I was the soulmate, how would I even know to contact this specific psychic to relay messages to your son, and your son is at that point in time, someome who I don't even know? And if I did know your son, why would I even need the psychic for?

Also I've seen these videos where a person gets a bunch of psychics to draw and list out their soulmate's personality traits, and if they have a soulmate you'd expect that everything will be the same or similar to each other, but all the drawings and personality traits were different, so save your money.

If your son wants psychic readings, it should come out of his own pocket. You don't feel comfortable giving money to some stranger who could be manipulating and taking advantage of your son. If he hounds and harasses you for money, that's not a behavior that should be rewarded, and if you give him money when he's having a tantrum, it's rewarding his behavior. I mean, even if he has autism and learning difficulties, he still knows enough to treat you like a bank machine. If he has gotten money out of you to pay for these psychic readings in the past, he's smart enough to handle a job, volunteer somewhere, and do something else with his life.

  • Also, he's engaging in Dark Arts. It never ends smoothly.
