Autistic child

Hello I'm Ellie I have aspergers my fiance has autistic traits and his daughter 10 has autistic traits to help her meltdowns and stop her dad from not coping with it would she be entitled to a bedroom of her own we r in a 1 bedroom bungalow causing alot of sleep disturbance for chloe his daughter she has sensory overload to with noise if she don't get sleep she will have meltdowns more rapidly and grumpy.

  • Can you pitch a tent and add some fairy lights in the living room! Create a calming aesthetic for her so she has her own space & it may also help block out noise.  

    If there’s a way to maybe be creative with what space you have- maybe position a sofa so it creates a barrier to her tent. It doesn’t sound ideal, but a canvas cover could turn the room into a sort of artists studio. Buying raw fabric can be inexpensive if you like to craft and sew.
