Hi
This is my first time on the forums here.
My son has Aspergers Syndrome. I only found out 9 months ago - its taking me a long time to accept it - hes highly functioning on the surface fortunately.
Ive told my doctor and I have told my son but my son wont accept it which is very understandable. I dont go on about it to him. Im waiting until he is more open to it.
We were estranged for at least 4 years because of it.
But now that I know, our relationship is as good as it can be.
