Hi, i'm a mother of 3 kids, the oldest having High Functioning Autism.  It's my first time on a forum and just looking for people to talk with and get ideas from to help deal with different problems that arise.

    Hi Mazspirit, and welcome!

    How old is your eldest?  Are the other two unaffected? Does he/she have any problems with the other two, or at school?

    I assume, as you've said high-functioning, that there have been some developmental delays.  Are there any particular behavioural problems that you struggle with?

    A good book, if you've not come across it, is Susan Senator's 'Making Peace With Autism' - about one family's experience of bringing up an autistic child.  There are some cheap used copies (under a pound) on Amazon.
