Hi - Newly Diagnosed with ASD

Hi so, I'm new here and just felt like I should introduce myself and not be a 'lurker' on this site, which is generally my preference.

My names Richard, I'll be 30 later this year and I've just received a diagnosis of ASD after years of seeing psychologists for depression, general anxiety, social anxiety, anger issues and similar things.

At the moment, I'd say that being diagnosed is like having a light shone into the darkness I've been stuck in since my teen's, and I look forward to progressing forward with life now that I have a better understanding of my situation and I can finally see a path ahead of myself.

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone else who’s been diagnosed in the later years, and how they've handled life pre and post diagnosis, as well as finding any potentially helpful links and information that might suit someone in my position.
