I just thought I'd say hello to everyone. I'm not exactly all that good with the new lap top at the moment, so I hope I'm doing this the right way. I've just been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder level 1. - I'm a 55 year old woman, so better late than never! I also at times suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, anxiety and depression, but I'm getting a little bit of help for my mental health through my local IAPTs. I think I have a positive outlook for my autism diagnosis, but I'm going to have to work on my low self esteem. For now, it's just good to say hello!

    Hello there Trogluddite. Thank you very much for your welcome. I can identify with what you say, about the need to pick apart which traits are due to mental illness, And which parts are due to brain wiring, in order to understand my needs. I expect I have a little worrk to do, but I shall get there. As you say, I am not alone!
