Im a 21 year old by the name of Laura. I havent been diagnosed with Aspbergers yet, but I saw a specialist yesterday who said I definately have traits so I need to get it investigated furthur; Im having the ADOS test in January. Im not new to Aspbergers, as both my brothers have it. Im fairly sure that I have it as well. I have 'special interests' which I am completely obsessed with. I am at uni. Hope it lasts, because I have started before and just left because I found it difficult.
If It turns you do have it well like you said you're not new to Aspergers which gives you an advantage to live with it and I don't have aspergers myself I have a mild form of autism but I can definetely relate to the special interests and Once I'm into something I do get obsessive which I used to think was totally strange and I was worried about myself but I was told it's just a part of me if not a characteristic that makes me uniqueand I also start things then get bored and start something new as soon as it goes 'out of fashion' in my mind
