I have not received the full report yet, but my ASD (Aspergers) diagnosis has been confirmed a week ago. I was expecting that, made the first steps to get a diagnosis around last October, ten months ago.
Mixed feelings at the moment, I am 49 year old adult male, and feel the diagnosis could have made a big difference if it had been detected in my younger years.
I have been able to work since I had my first job offer just before my 16th Birthday, but have been struggling at work in recent years. I have not been able to establish any close friendships or relationships.
