hi everyone,im karen and a newbie to this site,ive just had a diagnosis my nearly 5 yr old daughter for medium autism on the spectrum,so im just trying get my head around it all at the moment as im finding there's a lot to take in.

    Hi Karen, i know how you are feeling, we got my sons diagnosis on Tuesday. He is 6 and although deep down i was expecting it, it still hit hard when we heard those words ' your sons autistic'. i cant offer any advice as i am still going through the early stage myself but just thought i would let you know you are not alone Fiona x
