new and a lil scary

i recently was diagnosed last year as an 32 year old woman and it’s felt so isolating and lonely. it’s like you spend your whole entire life feeling misunderstood to then have all the answers and not know what to do with it or anyone to share it all with. is this normal after a diagnosis? :/

  • Hi Curiouslyweird7x, welcome to the forum. I got diagnoised a month ago at 41(im male), and felt similar to you, and found comfort in this forum by reading others experiences and posting a few of my initial thoughts post diagnosis.

I can only speak for my own experience, but i would say what your feeling is normal,so go easy on yourself.

The forum has kind welcoming people who have given support as i am adjusting to my new diagnosis. The best part ive found is you feel less alone with it and people understand.
