Hi Everyone,
I've just registered with the site having received my formal diagnosis of Autism yesterday at 41 years old. Still processing as I'm sure a lot of you can appreciate. Was working until earlier in the year when I was medically retired from my 16 year career in emergency services due to PTSD. In the immediate trying to ease myself into processing autism diagnosis whilst I wait for the full diagnostic report (4-6 week wait apparently) and then hoping to find some suitable work that's supportive to keep me in a routine.
As a person I like reading books when concentration allows, collect comics, and enjoy gaming (PS5/Switch 2 mainly). Like taking myself off to the cinema when I can go to a quieter daytime show.
