I've been advised by NAS to post on here as I'm trying to find parents of young children with autism, who blog and live in London to help me develop the family events I run to make them more autism friendly. The events are creative, arty, music parties - think mini festival indoors over the winter - and whilst I have had children with autism attend and enjoy them (together with thier parents) I would like to improve their accessibility. I already plan to introduce interactive projecions that were specifically designed for children with autism to encourage them to communicate and would like some families to attend as my guest at the next party in November to try them out. Please let me know if you're interested. The events are designed for families with children aged 0-8years but any age is welcome.
