Hi to everyone, I am new to the group, diagnosed with Autism age 65.

Thank you for accepting me to the group, this is my first post.  I was diagnosed a couple of months ago & am currently education myself as best I can about how autism impacts me after a lifeltime of being misdiagnosed.  My son's late diagnosis led me to seek asessment myself & I am humbled by how much he has taught me.  I was late diagnosed with ADHD last year & began the intricate process of unmasking & thought I was succeeding until my autism diagnosis & now the serious unmasking has to begin!  I look forward to learning from you all.  Thanks.

  • Hi. Im 68 and diagnosed a week ago. My son was diagnosed 26 years ago to many different criteria that didnt trigger the connection. But caring for my adopted nurodivergent son did.

It's overwhelming and exhausting faced with the what nows.

I find it hard to get round this unmasking but im trying to look after myself better than I did in the past.

I seem to have stumbled with who and what to tell people. Im still me.
