Hi all, i have just been diagnosed autistic at the psychiatric hospital i am currently staying in. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2001 so lots going on for me. I am 55 so late to the party. Hope you're doing well with help from this forum. Look forward to chatting soon.

    I am sorry to hear that you have so much to deal with at the moment.  You'll be pleased to know that you are not late for the party, I am 70 have and just diagnosed too, and someone joined recently who is in their 80's and also just diagnosed. So, it's never too late to discover your autism.

    I like this forum because everyone is so considerate and genuine. This is the only forum where I have ever felt comfortable. 

    There is a mass of information available and I am sure someone will reply with useful links, before long.
