Hi all, I'm Sarah, 31 years of age and recently have been diagnosed with autism. I am struggling to get my head around the diagnosis although a lot makes sense to me now. Is this normal? I am waiting for the report but feel almost like i have been given a diagnosis and left to it. How is everyone else dealing with this?

It's entirely normal, just take your time and be gentle with yourself. I do believe we should be given some ongoing support after we are diagnosed. This place has been a real help to me. I hope you stick around and enjoy chatting with us.
