feeling alone :(

My 6yo son has got tourettes syndrome and is currently being assesed for Autism & ADHD, we've got to go back in feb/march time, myself and my husband have had no support, we feel lost and in limbo, had a meeting the other morning & Robert's head teacher said that he doesn't "present" any autism signs at school but then went on to say "oh but he did have a big meltdown last week when he forgot his lunchbag at school and got stressed out about changing things over" and that he keeps on at his school teacher until she has wiped something off on the whiteboard, now to me those are Autism traits because Rob needs structure and routine otherwise he does have a meltdown if he doens't know the how/what/where etc.

His teacher is fantastic, we have a home to school diary to record how he is at school and that he has started to tic more (yay! shows that me & hubs aren't going crazy)

There are other mums at school and that I know out of school who have autistic children but I don't feel like I can talk to them because I feel like I am bothering them.

There is a huge part of me that is very tempted to home school Rob because his social skills are non-existent, he has only got one close friend and I am worried he will lose him because of the lack of social skills

Sorry for the long post

and what if those parents are feeling that they can't reach out to you because they feel they might be bothering you?

They are likely to be struggling and lonely and unsupported. Go and talk to them and see how they are managing with their kids.
