Hi, I’m Alan.
I’m an autistic adult who enjoys connecting with people who understand the world a little differently. Receiving my autism diagnosis helped me make sense of many of my experiences and has encouraged me to embrace who I am while continuing to grow in confidence.
I work in children’s social care as an Intervention Worker, where I enjoy helping and supporting families. Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog, Luna, who is a huge source of comfort and companionship. I also enjoy driving, singing in a choir, watching films, and challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone—whether that’s taking on a new journey or trying something that once felt impossible.
I’m naturally caring, honest, and loyal, although I can be quite quiet until I get to know people. I value routine and appreciate environments where everyone feels accepted without judgment.
I’m looking forward to meeting others, sharing experiences, learning from one another, and hopefully making some new friends along the way.
