Introducing... me!

Hello, it's good to be here. I only discovered this community today,

Introducing myself without giving away too much personal information (as per the rules) is difficult!

I live in southern England, I am male and middle-aged. I received my official ASD diagnosis a few months ago; I wasn't assessed for ADHD at the same time but I strongly suspect I am in the AuDHD bucket, as I understand many of us are.

I work full time and I have two adult children. I am currently going through a divorce, and it is horrible. I suffer from rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD) at the best of times and when that rejection is very real and meted out over many months, which this process necessarily is, then it is so much harder to cope with.

Outside of work I am a musician and content creator, I go to church, I participate in local politics and chill out by reading, watching TV and playing games. If that sounds like a busy and fulfilling life, it doesn't really feel that way sometimes!

There is more I could say but I am wary of overdoing it so I will leave it there for now. Instead, please feel free to ask me anything.

I look forward to getting to know some of you!
