I've literally just been diagnosed in the last week. At the end of my final ASD assessment last week,he psychiatrist said he was going to make an official recommendation that I'm autistic, or on the spectrum - can't remember the exact words he used apart from recommendation. But it will probably be another week, before I get my report.
It's quite a late diagnosis for me as I'm approaching my mid 50s, though my family have suspected that I've been autistic for some time but I wasn't convinced until the last year or so.
I'll stop for now as I want to post a query in one of the other topic queries but I may add further information later.
