Awright troops! (Excuse the Scots)

I'm a 31 year old guy living with tonic clonic epilepsy due to 5 major brain ops due to a blocked shunt which was resited back in 2012. My Neurologist referred me for an appointment with the learning disability team, as I'm taking NES.(Non Epileptic seizures) When it comes to things like this I grab them by the horns, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm really nervous 

Any help/support would be appreciated

  • Hello. I can't imagine having brain ops, that would scare me more.

    What is it you are nervous about? I assume appointment is to assess how good you are or if you might need some help.

    Rather than think of it as something you might fail or be bad at, think if it as something you might be good at. Maybe they will recommend something that will help.
