I am new here. Looking for advice

Hi I am a 50 year old man that has experienced the typical adhd and other disorders that are typically misdiagnosed ASD I am taking the steps to ger this corrected. I do have alot of problems with miscommunication or other things. How has the experience been for others. What can i do to prepair myself? Is there any important questins i should ask? Is it alowed to bring a friend in that can help explain.. Any advice is a help.

    I am sorry to hear you are feeling a bit overwhelmed and stuck right now, but that is completely understandable.  If you would like to learn more about autism, NAS has a section all about the core characteristics of autism that you might find helpful to have a look at.
