Hello, new to this community
I'm a woman in my late 30s, diagnosed with ASD level 2 about 4 months ago after a lifetime of wondering why everything felt to me like it was on hard mode.
Have been in and out of burnout now for a while which is what prompted me to get help. Unmasking has been surprisingly easy around my family but I am still struggling to do this elsewhere, after a lifetime of human behaviour being a special interest. Studying and mimicking haha. It seems common in other late diagnosed women from what I've heard on podcasts and read online and in books.
Some things I love:
• Japanese novels
• Animals (especially my dog!!)
• Circuit training at the gym
• Art (painting and drawing)
• and I'm obsessed with music (many genres)
Thanks for having me here!
R.
