Intro

I've signed up new here after getting a diagnosis. Something I have previously explored, but when brave enough to enquire wasn't actioned etc. Having that feeling of being on the outside brings that feeling of self doubt i think. There is a lot I dont know how to deal with, which can lead to internal battles but externally I have been described as emotionless, presumedly traumas have put barriers up and tried to minimse vunerabilities. Thought ['d look around see what rings true etc.

  • Hi and welcome to the community. There was a thread started the other day about being told to solenoid to "cheer up" which a lot of us have experienced so a lot of us have faced that don't express emotions, or at least not in the same way as most people.

  • Hey, welcome!
Oh I think I just commented on your snake poem too! A lot of us can get very confused trying to work out our own feelings and what's going on inside. It can be very tricky, and hard for others as you say you don't always wear your emotions on your face or even in the tone of your voice. (Flat affect). I hope you can find some help in self-acceptance by chatting to others!
