Newbie …super scared but figured I'd press send & see what happens. Hello x

My names Joey. Mads is my cat.

I was diagnosed with ASD last month aged 40 (after 20+yrs of diagnosis & misdiagnosis).

I love rescue animals, komodo dragons, needle felting, houseplants, skate trainers, photography, cycling, inline skating, reading private eye & listening to LBC.

Scared to do this but hopeful to chat to people who get it and can help a little.

Thank you.

  • I am late to the Party, but welcome!

Is Mads indoors only or goes outside as well? I have two cats as well, they live indoors but have a huge playground!

And I am into plants as well. Do you have a favourite? I recently Fell into the orchid rabbithole, but I love to check ebay for plants that other people give away for free. I once got a huge indoor tree sort of thing which they had in some Office area. They gave it away due to issues with space, which should have probably Sound suspicious to me but well... now I have a tree in my living room.

  • You still made it! 2 cats, amazing. Maddy says hi!

She goes outside but not v far as she's nervous. Huge indoor playgrounds are awesome. I call it 'enrichment' I always move the toys and cat trees around to keep it interesting for her. Do you do the same?

Plants really awesome, outside it has to be any Acer they are like massive Bonsai trees which have always stumped me.

My mum has an absolute Orchid obsession but she only buys the half dead ones the supermarkets are about to throw and enjoys bringing them back to life?!

I love indoor plants that supposedly help with negative energy. (Spiders, Yukka, Cactus, Succulents, Carnivorous, Peace Lily, Bamboo, Aloe Vera)

    How about you?

Everyone needs a tree in their living room!!!
