Hello

Hello

I'm Simon.

I'm 52. I received my ASD diagnosis in October 2025.

I suspected that I had autism for the last couple of years and my diagnosis has been bittersweet for me.

I feel I that I need to be part of some kind of autistic community to share and hear about the experience of others.

Thanks

  • Good morning from America, Simon!

Bittersweet, that’s a great way to put it. It’s very common to have mixed feelings about a late diagnosis. But regardless, congrats on your diagnosis! I imagine after a few years of suspecting about having it, getting a definitive answer is at least a little relieving.

Definitely stick around and read up on others’ experiences. You’ll discover more about yourself by exploring how others have navigated the condition.
