Hi

Hello,

I’m a late diagnosed female who’s ended up very isolated and alone over the last few years. This has been very detrimental for my mental health and I’m hoping to try and connect more. It’s not easy making friends as an adult. I watched my 9yr old niece making friends and it’s so much easier when you’re a child! You just go up to someone and ask if they want to be your friend. Not sure that’s socially accepted when you’re 40 though.
I am an animal obsessed ex zookeeper, now working in a vets. Come and say hi Relaxed

  • Hello

I'd imagine a zoo is more fun. You see healthy animals and try to make them happy and play with them (as long as you were in charge of something you could interact with), rather than ill or injured ones and try to keep them alive.

And in a vet you have owners and emotions to deal with, as well as more poorly behaved animals.

My sister worked in a vet years ago and ended up adopting loads of things.
