One thing that really helped me was reading Self-Care for Autistic People by Dr. Megan Neff:

It’s a great book that’s an easy read. It gives loads of bite sized bits of info helpful for anyone on the spectrum to deal with things such as stressors, relationships, routines, etc.

It would also be helpful for her to join this forum, as it can be a first step towards meeting others like her. Seeing how others’ experiences are similar or even different than hers can help her to know herself better.
