Just been Diagnosed with aspergers but would like to say hi

went to mental health as a child they kept saying I didn't have it, when I turn 18 I went to adult mental health and with-in 1 year I have be diagnosed, just wish it was done earlier, I am also waiting for my report, apparently the report has change so It is taken them longer to fill it out,

I've also recently been diagnosed with Asperger's, though I'm still waiting to receive the full assessment report.

You say you've just been diagnosed after ten years, but I was wondering: after ten years of what?  Is it that it took ten years to get a diagnosis?
