Hello

Hi I’m Masker.

I’ve not been diagnosed for long but being autistic is something I’ve been wondering about since a teacher pointed out I had the characteristics a couple of years back. And now here we are. It feels good knowing but I also feel a little lost like I don’t know what I’m supposed to do now.

I spend most of my time shut up indoors, watching animated movies or obsessing over LEGO. I used to go out horse riding but my anxiety got too bad in the end and I now know my panic attacks were also partially due to sensory overload.
I absolutely love horses, I think they are one of the most gracious and beautiful animals so one day if I'm better at controlling my anxieties I'll get back to my riding.
A lot of the time it feels like I don’t fit in with the rest of the world. I’m hoping that will change now I am here.

Best wishes,
Masker.

  • Hi and welcome.

I used to help at a riding school in my teenage years and still love horses too they’re such lovely animals.

LEGO and animated films sound like a nice way to spend your time.

I’m glad you’ve joined here, it really does help being around people who understand.

    Happy chatting.
