I am just posting on here to introduce myself. Although I do not have autism, my half-brother does, and thus, the syndrome has, in some respect, affected me in a personal manner during my life. One of the main things that worries me, however, is the struggle that my half-brother is having trying to find employment. To date he has not succeeded in gaining any, despite the fact that he has done lots of volunteering and is proficient in IT. I realise that this is going on across the country (and possibly the world) so to help with this issue I set up a blog and I am trying to do a few things to help combat this discrimination. Since it is my first post, I feel it is not right to post my link (I do not think that this is allowed either) so if you want to find out more please just post below. I also hope you agree that this prejudice is a problem from a local to a national level.
