Hi everyone on here.We are the Parents (Rob & Belinda) of an autistic teenage girl and have been looking for a chatline to share and talk about our lives ,because we all share the same situation.The autistic society put us on to this.If anyone would like to say hi it would be great to not feel so isolated sometimes xSmile

    Welcome to the community - can I suggest that you don't share any details that could allow anyone to identify you? - your daughter might even come on the forum and I'm sure that she would die of embarressment if she could identify you from your posts!

    Apart from that, (and I hope I didn't come across unfriendly) fire away with your questions - this is a very friendly forum and I haven't seen any negative stuff that you get on some web forums.

    You aren't alone - there are lots of folk who are struggling with the spectrum of affects - there are lots of positives too - we all have strengths as well as our weaknesses.
