New Member - Looking to Meet Like-Minded People

Hi everyone, I'm new here and joined because I want to meet like-minded people. I'm currently in Northamptonshire, but plan on moving to the Surrey/Berkshire area next year. I've struggled to make friends all my life, but I enjoy socialising and would love to find some people to chat to and hopefully meet in real life. I love animals, history, and philosophy - I'm also fascinated with physics (even though I'm not scientific at all!).

    Physics is always interesting.

    Did you know that if you take two cylinders of the same mass and diameter and one is hollow, then roll the down a slope, the hollow one rolls slower.

    You can Google it or look for it on YouTube if you don't believe me.

    (To make them the same mass the hollow is best made of a denser material.)

    Another counter intuitive one is to look at what happens to flames in space. The flame is spherical.
