Hello from running lover!!

Hi everyone,

I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself. I’m 55, recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD, and I’m still learning what that means for me.

Life has been a bit complicated — I grew up in a religious background (Jehovah’s Witness) and leaving that was a big change. I’ve also had times of feeling quite isolated, so I’m hoping to connect with people who understand some of the challenges of being autistic, especially later in life.

I really enjoy music, running, spending time in nature, and being around animals. I also love good TV dramas (I really enjoyed The Bridge). It feels a bit daunting writing this, but I’m glad to have found this space.

    Hi Lonehare12 and welcome.

There are a good representation of later identified / diagnosed members here (sometimes referred to as the "latelings"!).

Thank you for sharing with us here; some of your interests - as it always helps to kickstart posts / replies.

I think you will find that The TV drama: The Bridge - has quite a number of fans here (count me in; on that show of hands voting).
