I’ll do a post on that in a second

also I like the name 190E better although I almost called it 190D but I’ve never been in the deisel model and have been in the eco model of the merc 190

  • Immer und überall

    Dringe tief zu Berges Grüften,
    Wolken folge hoch zu Lüften;
    Muse ruft zu Bach und Tale
    Tausend, aber tausend Male.

    Sobald ein frisches Kelchlein blüht,
    Es fordert neue Lieder;
    Un wenn die Zeit verrauschend flieht,
    Jahrszeiten kommen wieder.

    Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

    (1749 – 1832).

  • I dotn understand the second line “deeply penatestr to the mountains?) but I love the line that translates muse to Bach and tale

    classical composers can be a muse to many snd to me they relax me enough to be inspired

    I particularly love the lively overture ro carmen which was used as the world of sport wrestling theme in the 70s

    i also enjoy cavalier spring (used to hate it thanks to hours on the phone to the dwp but after that all ended inlearnt to properly listen to it without the endless looping of insanity)

  • Different translators over the years have interpreted that second line slightly differently over the years - however, I believe the intention was probably like this:

    "Penetrate deep into the mountain tombs,
    Follow the clouds high into the air;
    The Muse calls to stream and valley
    A thousand, a thousand times."
