Hiya Jazzielouise29! Welcome!
a lot of us were diagnosed as adults, too, and it’s a weird process for sure. backing up Stuart333, you’re gonna feel some things and that’s perfectly okay in whatever form that takes. We’re just here to support you and provide community through that process, so keep us updated.
Max

The single most important thing is to be kinder to yourself now. Recognise and accept how you feel, it is not wrong, it's you.
It will make everything easier. :-)
Thank you that makes me feel better
Hello, welcome.
You can say whatever you want to say. That you're happy, sad, validated, confused, lost, not sure what to make of it, etc.
There is quite some diversity and a range of experiences, but some common themes. You can ask questions, speak up and not worry.
This is somewhere you don't need to try to fit in. Be yourself, which is what you are now on a journey to discover.
Hello Jazzielouise29 you’ve come to the right place for information on Autism. Congrats on the diagnosis too!
