Newley diagnosed and what’s next?

Hello everyone, im bookworm18 and I love books. Today has been quite a day, I had my telephone call after the assessments last month and I have autism. I’m in my late 20s and honestly it feels so liberating but sad that after all this time I was the way I am but was seen as a problem. I’m south Asian so I don’t really have people I can basically just talk about this. But now I’m like what’s next, I found this community by researching and will take one day at a time to learn more about myself again. Just wanted to say hi all and I’m glad this community exists.

You have come to the right place - welcome.

We have a diverse group of people on here but all share the common focus of autism which seems independent of race or culture.

If you have any questions then feel free to ask. The chances are someone has an idea, a link or experience that can help.
