Hi everyone,
My name is :
Packet(Written in "a96ddb" light purple, but I cannot find the color option on the forum)
I’m new to the forum.
I’m currently based in Japan, but originally from Britain.
I’ve joined this space hoping to connect with others who understand the unique challenges that come with navigating neurodivergent life—especially when it intersects with healthcare systems.
Lately, I’ve been feeling incredibly frustrated.
After what feels like a string of consistently traumatic experiences with public healthcare, I’ve come to question whether any system should have a monopoly over people’s access to care?
Being told to seek private healthcare for even basic questions about my medication has left me feeling abandoned.
To make matters worse, private insurance often excludes pre-existing conditions, which leaves people like me in a very vulnerable position. It’s hard not to feel stuck.
I’m also exploring alternative lifestyles and projects that align with my values—like fruitarianism and ethical sourcing of tea petals instead of leaves. I’d love to hear if anyone else here is working on similar ideas or has thoughts on sustainable living.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to connecting with you all.
Warm regards,
Packet(a96ddb color)
