Hi

Hi, I'm new here. I was diagnose with Aspergers (Autism) over 10 years ago which is weird to think about because it doesn't feel that long ago to me. It's depressing in a way because I don't feel I've achieved much since being diagnosed and I don't really understand Autism that well, though it's something I'm trying to gain better knowledge of.

I'm hoping being here with others who understands what it's like will help me.

  • Hello Celinara!

I’ve also got ASD, anxiety, and depression. Feeling like you don’t really understand Autism even after being diagnosed as a teen? I think you’re in the right place. Here you can get a pretty broad view of others’ experiences which can shed light on your own. I’ve learned quite a lot about myself just by reading other people’s posts, for example I once laughed uncontrollably while being bullied one time, and apparently I’m not the only one with ASD that has done that.

Yeah again, I think you’re in the right place.
