Hi everyone, happy Thursday. My name is Isa, I was diagnosed with ASD last month. I had always been different, never fit in anywhere and didn't really understand why I was different. It was a case of the rest of the world was turning and living and I was simply existing. And then four years ago I donated blood, something I do regularly now, and I wore my sunglasses and my ear buds because of the brightness and noise, and the nurse taking my blood that her autistic daughter was the same as me.
We got talking about it, she did all the talking really, and then afterwards I did my research online and then four years speed up to now and here I am as a diagnosed autistic. I don't really know what to do now, I have my diagnosis and I feel more validated now so that's a good start I guess.
