Hello everyone

East Angles

Just saying a hello to you all to get started. Our middle child has now been diagnosed as moderate ASD. It's taken a year and a half for the outcome of the diagnosis. My wife and I feel after all the heartache and tiredness that we are now reinvigorated and better understanding of our lad. Like you all before us we have a lot to learn and do.

    My son was diagnosed 2 years ago, and I remember feeling a huge sense of relief, and a feeling that we could now move forward.  I am still battling the sytem for him, but it is much easier when you can wave a diagnosis at people.  My son is currently being re introduced to school, he is battling depression and ocd with the asd, but he is doing really well.  I wish you lots of luck.
