Hello there - I'm 57 and just diagnosed (Psych review was this morning!) - with a recommendation that I am referred for an ADHD assessment also.

Not entirely sure what I do with this information.

    In my experience, you do nothing but wait. A letter will be sent out to you in due course. I don't know about your area, but I wouldn't be surprised if you wait between six and twelve months.

    The most important thing is that you have taken the first steps. Congratulations!
