Hi, I'm Shirl. I joined the community the other and then completely forgot to introduce myself to everyone.

You might find me a bit quiet and awkward but I'm nice when you get to know me.

    I’m a natural oversharer sometimes it led to terribly awkward situations, so for me nothing in your profile is overshare. My opinion is not objective, but I guess here we are a community of people who in one or other way have differences to what is set as standard and “normal”.

    Some of my favourite games are Sims 4, Lego Harry Potter, Assassins creed Odyssey, Fallout 4, Hogwarts Legacy and I've just played BioShock which I enjoyed a lot. I have also recently bought the Xbox version of Cluedo and I often play Pure Chess.

    I find them intrusive and a bit neuro-typical for my liking.  They remind me of an interview and make me feel uncomfortable, and in a setting like this...  I don't really need to feel that way.  

    However, I do write lots of long posts which is my choice - and different to being put on the spot, and in those I'd probably disclose more than most would write in an introduction.

    Thank you! I like your hobbies, what Lego do you like? I've been collecting Lego Disney for a while, I love all the mini figures.

    Hi Lotus, thank you. I’m a woman in my 20s, I love video games as well what ones do you enjoy playing? One of my faves is Minecraft, and Animal Crossing, and Pokemon. I don't know anybody who I can chat to so I'm really excited to chat here with other autistic people.

    I don't normally like making intros to forums because I'm not good at them but when I created my account it was the first suggestion, so I thought let's give this a try. Went better than I expected!

    Thank you, thank you! I'm so happy you loved my profile page, I wasn't sure if I had overshared or not. I get carried away sometimes. I hope you will find some of the books helpful, I've read them all and found them to be very useful and enlightening in ways.

    I enjoy watching the birds, lego, photography and reading. 

    Also colouring and puzzle books (my goal is to finish them without giving up);
