Hello all! I'm Ciarán M (22), I was diagnosed with ASD (Asperger's) in 2009. New to posting in this community and look forward to chatting with people of similar life experiences, struggles and understandings :) 

I enjoy exploring psychological and philosophical concepts, writing and listening to music, watching stand-up comedy, watching boxing, my favourite TV show is South Park, and playing Dead By Daylight. Been playing the guitar for over 10 years and love all music, but heavy music has my heart. 

Major inspirations include: Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Primus, Dream Theater, System Of A Down, Pantera, Mr Bungle, Bring Me The Horizon, Jason Becker & The Beatles. 

Glad to be here and hope to make some friends!

    Thank you very much! I was a late bloomer to The Beatles but after seeing how much their influence has dominated music, I became hooked haha. And for me, South Park is one of the best cure for feeling down. I'll spend some time going through the posts.

  • That's a serious list of inspirations you have there.  It is amazing how many people still value the Beatles, and I have to say I can't understand people who don't appreciate an episode (or a game) of South Park every so often.  

    This forum is full of a wide variety of people at all stages of the diagnostic process, and with a eclectic selection of interests that often get spoken about too.  I hope you'll find your time here to be supportive & entertaining also.
