Hi I'm new here thought I'd introduce myself I'm Nicole and I waited 4 half years on waiting list and just yesterday got my asd diagnosis I always knew I was different and different professionals always was adamant I didn't have anything apart from being delayed with certain child development

  • Hi Nicole, congrats on your diagnosis, and welcome to the forum!

    When I first approached the professionals about autism I was told by several it's anxiety, childhood trauma and so on, but I persisted and it was worth all of that hassle in the end, because I had those long awaited answers. And that meant more to me than anything else.
