Parent of adult child - help!

Hi

Lovely to find this forum. I’m looking for a bit of camaraderie.

i have an adult son (21) who has been really struggling to navigate through adult life. He has tried and failed two universities has started a few jobs but never managed to hold one for long. He has been late for interviews and not attended others. Getting really exasperated that he can’t seem to organise or manage his life. He’s always been smart but has real problems with organisation and motivation.. He’s constantly asking me to go places with him, as he has no friends at all. I work full time and cant give him the support he appears now to need. I take all his failures to heart and am in a constant state of anxiety. Does anyone else have these issues? Any advice? Should I just leave him to it and accept he can’t work?

help!
