Hi to you all, I am new here

Hello BikerNikki and wellcome to the forum. What type of engines are you interested in, motor bike engines or cars? I own a 1976 series 3 Land Rover with a 2.25 diesel engine. I do a lot of my own mechanics apart from electrics as I struggle with them.

I do motorcycles and cars, quad bikes, full mechanics and electrics. I love fault finding, I love rebuilding and restoration jobs.

You do electrics? Sigh, I have just had my landy re-wired as I struggle with electrics and there were a few issues to deal with. It is rewarding to be able to solve a fault. I enjoy working on my landy but dyspraxia makes it hard as for every five minutes of spannering, it is five minutes picking them up. 

For non-electrical tasks (non-ESD environment requirements), the internet search engine phrase of the day:

safety tool lanyard 

(Enables tethering the tool but still operating it e.g. at height without dropping it on someone, or in an awkward space ...without the inevitable, wretched, hunt-the-tool sense of humour failure.  Also helpful in cold conditions; when wearing more durable gloves means: reduced dexterity and an increased risk of dropping a tool).
