Hello there and congratulations! There’s some sweet little books out there which introduces the idea of a new family member. I think a physical example of a new born joining the family, like the pictures in the books of a family bringing the baby home etc could go a long way in preparing your 4 year old if this is the concern. My sister has an autistic son, he’s 7 and his little sister is 2, the baby didn’t disrupt his life much at all but being these fragile little people, our hearts walking the planet, we are naturally protective and want to do our best.
