Hidden in Plainsight

Hi guys!

I just posted an introduction message from myself in another thread. Over the last week or two I have started to try my hand at poetry, in an effort to try to express myself a little better.

The below is actually the first poem I wrote. My inspiration was to try and describe a meltdown or down period and the internal struggles. I hope it's OK to share here...

Hidden in Plainsight

Trapped in a moment, hidden from all,
When the seasons change, so begins the fall

Chaos ensues, cloaked for all,
As the storm approaches, I begin to bawl

Feeling's of despair, secluded from all,
Wintery weather appears like a brawl

Unable to process, mysterious to all,
When the winds pick up, I start to crawl

Time stands still, withheld from it all,
Lightening strikes, and I've hit my wall

Trapped and alone, invisible to all,
Misunderstanding abound, because of my sprawl

An explosion of serenity, disguised for all

Spring emerges, and it's time to stand tall

Timeless transcendence, unknown by all,
Blinded by smiles, people only see the shawl

In plainsight I mask, pretend and deceive,
Longing to transmit, hoping you'll receive

Thanks
